Great Old Bluegrass Songs

I recently stumbled across this book in a school library. While the book is quite old, so are the 88 songs, all of which are classic bluegrass tunes. The melody notes are kept simple, and the chords are given for each song, making it a great book to use for playing in or practicing for jams. Highlights: many Ralph Stanley songs, interesting anecdotes about bluegrass songs, instruments, and musicians. Great to have the words to "Pffftt, You Were Gone," made famous on Hee-Haw.

Great songs

Not a lot to add to the previous reviewer other than agreement. There were many songs here I knew of but did not truly know. Others were brand new to me. Plus I found many old favorites here and several new (to me) favorites as well.
